How to file a claim
- Report any accident or damage to us within 24 hours, using the emergency number on your rental agreement.
- For accidents involving another party, injury, or significant damage, file a police report before leaving the scene.
- Photograph all damage and collect the other party's insurance and contact information, if applicable.
- Our claims team will guide you through documentation and any deductible that applies to your plan.
What voids coverage
Insurance and protection plans do not apply if the vehicle was operated:
- By an unauthorized or unlisted driver
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Off-road, in a race, or in violation of the Rental Agreement's prohibited uses
- Outside the geographic area authorized in your rental agreement
Third-party & personal insurance
If your personal auto insurance or credit card offers rental coverage, it may supplement or replace our plans — check your policy's rental-car provisions before declining our coverage. We recommend confirming coverage limits with your provider prior to pickup.
