Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern every reservation and rental made through ReservationCarRent ("we," "us," "the Company"). By completing a booking, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, and our Insurance Policy.

• Renters must be at least 21 years old; drivers aged 21–24 may incur a young-driver surcharge.
• A valid driver's license, held for a minimum of 12 months, is required at pickup.
• A major credit card in the renter's name is required to place a security hold.
• Any additional driver must meet the same license and age requirements and be declared at pickup.

• Quoted rates include the base rental rate, applicable taxes, and standard service fees unless stated otherwise.
• A refundable security deposit is authorized on your card at pickup and released within 5–7 business days after return, less any outstanding charges.
• Extras (child seats, GPS, additional drivers, insurance upgrades) are billed when you confirm your reservation by phone or at the counter.

• Standard rentals include 200 miles per day unless the listing states "unlimited mileage." Excess mileage is billed at $0.35 per mile.
• Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. Vehicles returned with less fuel are charged the missing fuel cost plus a $25 refueling service fee.

A grace period of 29 minutes applies. Returns more than 30 minutes past the agreed time are billed at $25 per hour, up to the daily rate; returns more than 24 hours late are billed a full additional rental day and may be reported as an unauthorized vehicle use.

• Vehicle condition, mileage, and fuel level are recorded (with photos) at both pickup and return.
• The renter is responsible for any new damage occurring during the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear, subject to the insurance option selected (see our Insurance Policy).
• Any accident, regardless of severity, must be reported to us within 24 hours and, where another party or injury is involved, to local police.

The vehicle may not be used for:

• Racing, off-road driving, or towing without prior written approval
• Any illegal purpose, or while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Sub-renting, ride-share/commercial passenger transport, or driving outside the continental United States without prior authorization

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
• Cancellations inside 48 hours are subject to a one-day rental charge.
• Date, time, or vehicle changes are subject to availability and may affect the quoted rate.

One-way rentals between supported locations are available for an additional relocation fee, quoted by our team before you confirm your booking.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReservationCarRent's liability arising from this Agreement is limited to the total amount paid for the rental. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income or missed connections, arising from vehicle availability, mechanical issues, or delays outside our reasonable control.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless a different venue is required by applicable consumer-protection law in your state of residence.

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of our booking service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
